Finally caught up on episodes 3 and 4 (on a new TV--our microwave died, and in the process of replacing it, Mr. d decided that the TV sale in the next aisle was a great opportunity to replace the giant tube dinosaur in our bedroom; I'd put off watching the last two episodes because the picture was so bad that I couldn't read the subtitles for the Italian-speaking characters)--
When I said I thought we were in for a wild ride, I had no idea how literally I was right. That trip through the sunflower field was amazing, both visually and plot-wise. I didn't realize that JPIII had been handed off to different, reluctant people who were owed money by the previous custodians. And Brendan Fraser is back!
Hilary Swank has always bugged me, and sadly, this show is no exception. Her character is very sympathetic, but watching her makes me itch.
