I am not questioning your dislike of him, just actually curious about his PAB-ness on Punk'd. Is it because he cried? Because if the FBI showed up saying they were taking everything I owned, I am 99 percent certain I would cry too. Or did he do something else? Like bitch them out. I don't think I've watched that episode since it originally aired a zillion years ago.

It's been a long time since I've seen that ep but IRRC they told him they were confiscating his dogs too. So I excuse any reaction or behavior from him as if someone told me thy were taking my dogs I would lose my shit. Like probably end up in jail or on a psychiatric hold level of lost shit.

His PAB ness can easily be summed up by Chris Rock's monologue at VMAs. He starts talking with his faux ebonics, cries like a bitch speaking like thr basic white man he is and then when he finds out he was punkd, goes back to his faux ebonics. I wanted to smack the shit out of him.

I remember that. And Justin starts applauding him and laughing along, seemingly not realizing that he's actually the butt of the joke.

The quality of the clip is crappy but the entire monologue is great.

Admittedly it's been a while since I've seen the episode as well, but I think Coffeecakes summed up why it always rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn't his tears that bothered me, it was more that we saw a crack in that silly facade of his, which I found kind of telling. And then years later Dax Shepherd was on a podcast and said how after the prank was revealed, Justin kept saying to him, "yo, I was about to kick your ass."

I didn't blame JT for being upset, but I found it eyerolling that he liked to present this cool, tough-guy exterior when it was pretty obvious from that episode that he was anything but. If I remember correctly, pre-bulked Zac Efron was on an episode circa the "High School Musical" years, and I recall being surprised at how oddly calm-bro-ish the perfectly coiffed, fey Disney Prince Zac's reaction was to the prank on his episode.
