I can’t believe he went away for so long to act after FS/LS, and he got treated like a king coming back. He hadn’t earned that based on 2 albums. I don’t think he’ll get that reception next time.

Have you ever driven across Nebraska?It takes nine hours but it seems like eighteen because everything looks the same, and it’s just flat forever, punctuated with interstate clutter and smelly feed and rendering lots. That’s kind of his music to me.

Nothing against Nebraska, plenty of nice people and more interesting than you might think, just not great to drive all the way across on the Interstate.

I meant at the time of his long actor break. He did Justified then Future Sex/Love Sounds then took a break to “act.” The public acted like they needed him to come back and save music again. 🙄
