My strategy with season one was to watch the first three episodes with subtitles. By then I was able to get a hang of it. Also, every time "Dreams' comes on the radio, I start by quoting, " My name is Erin Quinn..."

I used to visit my grandparents in Monaghan when I was a kid and I swear it took a good week and a half to two weeks to get my ear completely acclimated to the accent. It would have been easier if people didn't speak so quickly.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph". My other Irish grandmother wore this expression out!

I am totally in love with What We Do In The Shadows. Was so ready to be disappointed because that's what usually happens when a beloved movie gets the TV treatment but this one has been killing it so no doubt it will be getting axed before second season. It almost fills the heart hole left by Stan Against Evil and People of Earth so I know they're coming to take it away from me. LOL, I've been killing off quality television with my negative karma since the eighties, at least.

Welcome to CPMCCoG, ourdaisy!
I also have been very pleasantly surprised by the tv version of What We Do In The Shadows. I was worried that it would be bad and dishonor such a brilliant movie but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Apparently Jemaine Clement oversaw the adaptation and has written some of the episodes and all the episodes have been directed by cast members from the film. The tv cast is great and the new daywalker character is fantastic.

I binged the 2nd and final season of Imposters on Netflix. I really liked the Bunglers' chemistry. I thought Maddie was the least interesting character on the show, and I liked the way it wrapped up.

Between What We Do in the Shadows and Tacoma FD I've been laughing a lot these past few weeks. Last night's episode of WWDinS put me on the floor in hysterics, what with Colin and Evie and the vampire/werewolf rumble. Nandoor rules!

I watched the first episode of Fosse/Verdon over the weekend. First half was a bit slow, but it picked up in the 2nd half. I like a non-linear approach, so this works for me. Plus, feels like Michelle Williams isn't playing so 'fragile' for a change & always love Sam Rockwell.
