Infanta Elena and her husband, Jaime Marichalar are separating. It's not surprising - the rumors have been floating around for several years.
Strange that they announced it right after the king's spat with Hugo Chavez at the Iberoamerican summit. Hmm.

I'm thankful that their daughter, Victoria, didn't take after Elena in the looks department. I know that Elena is very dedicated to her royal duties, but whoa, she brings the fug. And the shape of Jaime's head, long and narrow, makes me think he could pass as a Muppet.
