Nominated for her first Oscar (Supporting Actress for the role of Amy March in Little Women) and on the cover of Vogue - she's having one heck of a breakout year! Also dating Zach Braff who's 21 years older than her and clapping back at trolls about it.

She's so talented, and I'm glad she got her first nomination especially since she had quite the year with Fighting With My Family, Midsommar, and Little Women. I don't know about that Zach Braff thing though.

I wish she'd realize what a scuzz Zach Braff is and would stop wasting her time, but she's at that age where dating an older guy seems exciting, even though he's just a douche in a hoodie.
I haven't seen Little Women yet, but I watched her in Little Drummer Girl. Her acting is good and she's got charisma, but she reminds me a lot of a young Kate Winslet, and I still haven't gotten over my exhaustion with actual Kate Winslet.
And on a shallow note, girlfriend has the flattest non-foreheaded pumpkin head I've ever seen.

Deserving nomination, but I rolled my eyes at her "clap back" at the person commenting on the age difference between her and ZB.

Deserving nomination, but I rolled my eyes at her "clap back" at the person commenting on the age difference between her and ZB. She's going to look back at it and cringe in a few years, but like other young women in relationships with such age gaps, she's going to need a few years to learn that their relationship worked not because she's so special and mature but cause he's an emotionally stunted skeeze.

I love this young woman - she's crazy talented - but Zach Braff is a walking STD. I don't care about the age difference, it's the yuck factor of his sleaze. Hope he gets kicked to the curb quickly.

Congrats to Florence! If you haven't seen her early film (might have been her first?) called Lady Macbeth, check it out. She is phenomenal in it.
What's the story on the skeeze with Zach Braff? I don't know anything about him other than he starred in Scrubs and directed Garden State, neither of which I saw.

Yeah, I'm far more grossed out over the fact that Braff seems like kind of a terrible person than the age difference. As for Florence, I've only seen her in Little Women and while I agree she's talented, I'm a bit torn on the performance. Some of it is not her fault - like she has sort of a deep, husky voice and as such I had some trouble buying her as "young Amy" in some parts of the film. In other parts, her performance seemed a bit too modern, though while it took me out of it in some parts, I admit I also enjoyed some aspects of it - like her choice to just laugh her ass off in the infamous moment when Jo burns off some of Meg's hair with the curling iron.

Try to watch "Lady Macbeth." She's truly amazing in that. Like scary good. That performance really explains the hype. That said, I felt the same way about Eliza Scanlan after "Sharp Objects" and I haven't seen the same pr push for her, but I hope she keeps working as well.
