I feel bad for him. He is obviously having some mental issues, and he is such a nice guy, so I have heard.
He seems lonely to me.

I also feel sorry for him. I think he has a lot of issues and drugs are his crutch. I hope he gets help and I hope his family can step in and help him - I remember on Behind the Music they talked about how his brother went on tv and begged George to get help. A little too public perhaps, but it at least showed that he cared and wanted to help.
I had no idea that he was almost killed by a disco ball. That would have been really sad, but totally awesome in a poetic sort of way.

He has a lovely voice and this news is just sad. I wish him well and I hope he gets help. Hearing of him crying in the courthouse is just awful. Word is he's gone back to England now, to escape. Hopefully he gets treatment there as well. My favourite Culture Club song is Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?...gorgeous vocals, sweet song. I also love the remake of Everything I Own. That boy can really sing. That's my favorite song too. I hope he gets hope too he seems so down to earth and love the voice as well. |

His version of the Crying Game is gorgeous and kind of haunting, and apropos too.
That was his first falling out with Madonna BTW, he says she stole his look (dark wig) from his video, to make it her look at the time.

Cocaine possession and all, Boy George is about 100X cooler than Madonna will ever be. And so much more talented too, and a much nicer and lovelier person.

True dat, jaghetersimon.
He looks older than his years. Must be due to his heroin addiction. That stuff takes a big toll on the body and it really ages you.
Anyone see the footage of him at some outdoor concert so farked upon the stuff he was nodding off during an interview before he went onstage?
They showed his performance that day and he was A MESS.
I think it may have been THS on E.
