I think the Kardashians make the bulk of their money from makeup lines and for many years the show has functioned primarily as advertising for their brand.
I follow Deuxmoi now too! There's too much Real Housewives to scroll through, but they get good nuggets of gossip on real celebrities here and there.

OT, but what is the "Chris Noth trigger warning" about? It's mentioned all the time and I don't get it. I also don't know a lot of the people that are discussed because I guess I'm so old, but there are enough that I do know that make it worth it.

OT, but what is the "Chris Noth trigger warning" about? It's mentioned all the time and I don't get it There is now a Deuxmoi Dictionary on Reddit. Whenever a photo was taken of a celebrity without their knowledge it's labeled with Chris Noth Trigger Warning. Something about some Chris Noth fans who were outraged by some photos of him were taken without his consent. Or maybe it was Chris Noth himself who flew off the handle, I forget. It's not really that clever. And almost all of the photos that are posted there were taken without the celebrity's knowledge and aren't labeled but it still feels like it's being said constantly. |

This week there have been a lot of posts about Katie Holmes and her new boyfriend. And someone sent in a tip a week or two ago about David Harbour talking about marrying Lily Allen and they got married! |

My biggest issue with Deuxmoi is that I've known people who have sent in fake stories just to see if they'll get posted, and they do. I'm not exactly sure how much actual vetting takes place. I tend to take everything with a heaping block of salt on that account. |
