Zooming in, NE Ohio has been hammered with weather this week: a tornado touched down near Cleveland, and the power conglomerate that bribed a huge swath of the OH Republican state gerrymander beneficiaries has left nearly 250,000 without power. Akron, yesterday, was hit with like 7 inches of rain in 5 hours. A bunch of kids in MissP’s marching band were stranded at school because all their routes home were closed. Also, the theater where Traffic and MissP do the lion’s share of their theater and pit work had preview night. The theater is situated on the bank of the Cuyahoga River. To be clear, Traffic and MissP are playing in the pit currently at another theater in Chagrin Falls, OH, not the local theater in the photos. But their shows this weekend were threatened due to Chagrin being part of the tornado related power outages. Reportedly, the show will go on tonight! On a closer note, about 2 hours ago, our neighbor across the street had a tree fall which narrowly missed Traffic’s father’s truck that was parked in front of our house. That tree has been fixin’ to fall for years, and the rain made it happen. Whee!

The death count has been raised to 4 dead with 9 injured. Suspect is in custody (alive) which always makes me curious in these situations. I hate hearing about school shootings. They're just out of control.

Looking like another gunhumping family causing this. If there was any justice both parents and the teen will serve sentences for four counts of first degree murder. If you're a responsible gun owner this won't happen to you, right?

Looking like another gunhumping family causing this. If there was any justice both parents and the teen will serve sentences for four counts of first degree murder. If you're a responsible gun owner this won't happen to you, right? It wouldn't be the first time that the parents were tried and convicted for their teen's 'non-access' to guns that they got for him. I think a couple was just sentenced this year. But you know, "Gun Free Zones" and having metal detectors are a waste of time, right? Could have been helpful in this case, especially when you had someone already on the FBI's radar. Just horrific. ETA: DONE. Father of George School Shooter arrested and was charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children, the authorities said. An official said the charges stemmed from him “knowingly allowing his son” to have a weapon.

Maybe it's because I have a 14-year-old son, but I feel sorry for this kid. It doesn't excuse murder and he should face punishment, but he was failed miserably by his parents. His mom is a career criminal absent from his life, his dad gave him an assault rifle for Christmas, and according to his aunt, the child begged for mental health help and never received it. You'd think the FBI making a visit to your house investigating your kid would be a wake-up call. Being a parent is a huge responsibility and this mother and father totally, utterly failed their son and the community they brought him into.
You don't gift an AR-15 to a 14-year-old.

You don't gift an AR-15 to a 14-year-old. Or give it as a gift to most, if not all, people. It's one of those things that seems like you know exactly what the intent is when it's given. It's meant to eviscerate its target. Whether that be an animal, a non-living target, or humans. Just a crazy item for any civilian to own and have the ability to use whenever.

As a non-American? A gun seems like a terrible gift. Boring.
