The timing on this is insane.
He was reported to have left rehab in very late February. His divorce was announced in early May. Olivia looks fairly far along, probably into her second trimester.
So Mulaney had time to leave rehab, split with his wife, file for divorce, start dating Olivia, AND get her pregnant in two months. TWO! None of this sounds particularly healthy.
(This assumes he wasn’t cheating, which is of course a possibility.)

I know his ex-wife is probably really hurt but I wish her the best and a year from now she will be so glad she’s rid of his ass. “A man’s rejection is the Lord’s protection.” Good luck being a mom of two, Olivia.

She’s at least 6-7 months. She’s slim and it’s her first pregnancy. She probably got pregnant late Feb-early March. I hope Olivia and John will somehow be better parents than they are people but that’s doubtful.

If he ever starts doing material about how "expensive" divorce is, that's not something I'll forgive. I don't want to hear any hint of bitterness about the financial impact of tossing his wife out (as he quickly earns back the money from touring and Netflix specials).

Normally I would go straight to cheating but he was in a residential rehab center for 60 days right before everything blew up. So maybe cheating before he went to rehab? Then again, this story has been pretty messy and leaky so I feel like if he was cheating on his wife with Olivia before rehab that rumor would already be out there.

There were rumors on Deux Moi that he was in LA cheating with Olivia last fall. His stans or his management or both attempted to neutralize that tip. She tweeted an encouraging message to him when he went off to rehab, so they were probably playing it off as a friendship at the time. |
