Teri Garr, who starred in Young Frankenstein, Tootsie, and Mr. Mom, has died, age 79. She had MS for a long time.

I always enjoyed her movies. RIP.

Wow, Mel Brooks has outlived almost all of the cast of Young Frankenstein. Terri Garr will forever be Inga to me, but she had a fantastic career outside of Brooks' movies. Tootsie, The Black Stallion and Close Encounters are all highly rewatchable for me. Think I'll screen one of them tonight. Rest in peace, Ms Garr, and thanks for the laughs.

One of my mother's favorite movies was Mr. Mom. Watched it again a year or so ago and still held up.

I just watched Mr Mom for the first time, after Michael Keaton discussing it on Smartless. It was really good. I mostly think of Friends and Tootsie but I was a big fan of Teri Garr.
