I think not only does he think he deserves it but he thinks it’ll help boost the profile of Invictus so they can persuade more countries to host them for more faux royal tours.
I have to think Harry & Meghan are getting more out of Invictus at the moment than they put in so I have to wonder how sustainable that is and at what point donors start to balk at picking up private jet & hotel costs for these two.
Will be interesting tomorrow if his speech is all “me, me, me” or he manages to highlight Invictus at all.

Harry has announced that the 2027 Invictus Games will be held in Birmingham, England. I guess his family can look forward to constant chatter over the next 3 years over weather they will attend or “snub” Harry.

Harry and Meghan have a new project! They're starting early. I really doubt Archie and Lilibet are trolling on Reddit just yet. I wonder if H&M will still be running this project in 5+ weeks' years' time?

I mean it's a worthwhile project in theory but it won't be active this time next year and that's being generous. It probably won't even do anything whilst it's active if their previous projects are anything to go by. What exactly is Travalyst again but a way for Harry to Jet to the Google Sumbit.
I also think it's a backdoor to Harry's continued attempts to shut down any and all criticism of himself online ala The Aspen Institute, even the legitimate things. "Harmful content" is extremely vague. "Lilli and Archie read a bad thing about me that was reported by all the newspapers because of all my lawsuits, I'm terrified for them because they are crying." Yes, I get that's legit a worry for famous parents but it's also up to them to limit their children's internet use and have conversations about never reading articles about the family, ignoring it as much as possible and building strong bonds. As I hope W&K have done for example. And many, many others.
Of course the crazy conspiracies are another matter entirely but will never go away no matter how hard he tries, they'll just move to a different platform, Kate proves it's impossible to shut down even if you are in a powerful position. Gah, I wish I could actually stop being so snarky and cynical about their motives but it's difficult at this stage, even for

I also think it's a backdoor to Harry's continued attempts to shut down any and all criticism of himself online ala The Aspen Institute, even the legitimate things. Ding ding ding. I TOTALLY think this is their primary motivation! That and getting some more attention which they both seem to require. From the tiny bit I read/could watch of the interview it was almost entirely focussed on Meghan and her suicidal thoughts whilst pregnant - and how much that meant all these parents could relate to her... what??? I mean it's a worthwhile project in theory but it won't be active this time next year and that's being generous. It probably won't even do anything whilst it's active if their previous projects are anything to go by. What exactly is Travalyst again but a way for Harry to Jet to the Google Sumbit. Yes, I get that's legit a worry for famous parents but it's also up to them to limit their children's internet use This! I mean- the world means exposure. Being a parent means YOU have to work to moderate and observe your child. Is it hard- yeah! That's kinda what being a parent is. But to Harry it seems more about: don't let the meanies say anything mean about me. Weirdly Harry was/is totally fine spreading gossip and making pretty harmful statements himself. But now he's here to protect us all. It's all for the children, of course. Sure Jan. eta: Ok- so I went and looked at this new "project"- The Parents Network. It is 100% just word salad. There are some "resources" for parents explaining what Instagram, TikTok, etc are and how they work. I suppose that could be useful??? But- the primary thing is this circular call to action that leads nowhere. According to the site/network- social media is harmful to the children and needs "safety standards in place". What are they? How can we get them? What are we asking for? NONE of that is broached at all. But they pretend it is- there's a call to action button (it just leads you back to the archewell page reciting the same quote you just looked at). The page has so many spin words: "campaign", "fight for change", "take action". But- for what?? I could find NOTHING that told me what they were fighting for/doing beyond wanting to make things safer for the childrens. I also found NOTHING saying what their actions were, what the "fight" was actually doing. No terms asking for this or that, no hard asks, or even suggestions. They go on and on about "taking action"- Ok- but how- what ARE they DOING? The only actual thing- tangible thing- I could see this site/network/campaign actually doing was asking for people to contact them with their own stories- that's it. So- just as every other campaign involving this duo I see absolutely nothing of substance. And I am SHOCKED, shocked I tell you. ** well, to be honest I am kinda shook. How many times can they do this?? Like- wtf dudes?

How many times can they do this?? Like- wtf dudes? Okay so yeah, pretty much every other thing they've done since leaving. Lots of talk, no actual goals and certainly no action. I do feel very sorry for those trying seek comfort and support from this "project" and finding it a dead end of someone who just wants to potentially use their stories for their own benefit down the line. It certainly wasn't their "biggest interview since Oprah" or whatever CBS was trying to claim (and that's leaving out their entire Netflix reality documentary series. Obviously teen mental health online (everyone's health when chronically online) is a worthwhile but they are the last people to be ambassadors to do it because they both admittedly doom scroll all the time and don't seem to have ever stopped. This interview seems remarkably ill timed. The UK papers are full of rioting (which sadly was predicted days ago) and Olympics (ditto) and the US had several important issues and medal events that were clearly going to take precedence whatever they said. Why did they not wait a couple of weeks until the obvious had died down?

Well Harry was on the cover of People magazine this week as Sussex sources *cough* Meghan & Harry were complaining about Charles not doing more to ensure Harry gets the level of security he wants - hilariously People mag did note it wasn’t in his power to do so. Apparently if the security issue was sorted then it would be “swords down” which very much sounds like a threat - give me what I want or I’ll keep dragging the family name through the mud publicly.
There has been some speculation online lately that Harry has lost his appeal over the RAVEC security issue and he’s been advised of that fact hence him publicly whining about his dad’s lack of effort on his behalf. I guess we should know soon enough. So it wouldn’t surprise me if they are deliberately being a bit more public now to try and rustle up sympathy if he doesn’t win his case. Look how much Harry & Meghan do for others! It’s so unfair the British taxpayers won’t foot the bill for his around the clock security!!
Oh and Harry & Meghan are doing another of their faux royal tours - to Colombia. I think that’s happening later this month.
I guess doing interviews and overseas tours distracts from the lack of a new podcast, the failure to do anything with the rights to “meet me at the lake” and the delays with the launch of American Riveria Orchard.

I really wish their titles would be removed, and I feel like enough time has gone by that such a move would no longer be unpopular. These faux royal tours are getting to be a bit much. Not sure if countries would stop inviting them if they were no longer the "Duke & Duchess of Sussex", but in my view it would be best if the royal family made it very clear that Harry & Meghan no longer have anything to do with the firm whatsoever. Maybe they are still just holding out hope for a divorce and some sort of prodigal son move.

They’re so low-rent right now. Who are these people inviting them for tours of their countries? They’re making the BRF stink. I wish someone would take their titles away, but I don’t see that happening. Not Charles, anyway.
