Yanni arrested in alleged domestic dispute

Wasn't unleashing Live at the Acrappylis on the world enough of a crime against humanity? Ok ok, for all I know he's 100% innocent, but I'm gonna give the woman the benefit of the doubt for now because I've never been forced to listen to any of her symphonic-New-Age-popera while on hold, deal?

I don't think they ever married and they split up a while back. I met him a year or two ago at a public TV fundraiser, not exactly pocket-sized but not big either, he was genial in our brief exchange.

Everytime I think of Yanni, I totally picture him with this thick European accent who talks about himself in the third person. Like, "Do not ever question, THE Yanni!" or "THE Yanni is the maestro of love, no?"

Ha ha ha finally a celebrity I'm one degree away from (my husband knows him) and of course he's the type of celebrity no one would be impressed at knowing. Darn!

Yanni spent several weeks living with my husband's boss at the time. Hubby says with a funny smirk on his face, "Yanni is a smart ass."

I'm getting a kick out of the fact that his name is John (Yanni) Christopher. Not too new age sounding, is it John?
