As we are all in this covid 19 world together would a “Lockdown Links” thread be an idea have all links fitness, education, tips for de stress and even entertainmen and crafting even if some might be region locked just having all in the same place might be good?

I would put all posts relating to those topics in the COVID-19 thread. We can't create a separate sub-forum without disrupting the board, so best to stick to that thread for all virus related thoughts and ideas.

This might be a dumb question, but I accidentally clicked on “Calendar” not realizing we had a calendar section. What is it exactly for? Is it something we can actually use?

The Calendar feature exists for boards that schedule events for their members. We don't do that here, so it's a bit extraneous. It just comes packaged with every forum hosted by ProBoards.
