I swear there was a Bruce Springsteen thread in the Celebs forum. Was that during my 24-hour crack binge that I noticed that? I searched the forum but found nothing.  ETA: I'm not a crack addict! Go me! (Sorry, couldn't find the thread with the search function so I paged through the forum.) |

Edie - ProBoards does not have the most robust of "search" functions, so what's needed to look for a particular thread is to page thru and do the legwork manually. Thanks for doing that.

Would it be OK to start a thread in the All About Us section called "Five Friday Favorites?" I am shamelessly nicking the idea from the Guardian boards, but every Friday we can have a list of favorites. For example, Favorite vacation spot, favorites potato dish, favorite television news program, etc. Each Friday, five new catergories would be picked by whomever got there first. Or is this too stupid?

How does one go about getting one's birthday added to the CPMCoG calendar? (admires new Happy Birthday thread )

You need to modify your profile where it asks if you want your age/birthday to be public or not. Change it to "public" and it should appear to others on the board.

Is there anything wrong with the profile settings? I've been trying to upload a new avatar but after I put its url in and click "Modify Profile" it just comes back with my profile the same as before but without the new avatar link. Like it's not saving my changes.
