Well, she was a jerk and she is putting herself out there. Not that it's right to bash her, but she's certainly making it easy on her detractors.

Seriously. Look, I am happy that she seems to be kicking the drug habit that was going to eventually kill her. That was the right thing to do. But I'm pretty sure there's not a requirement that she appear in public with Pamela Anderson or at the AI finals. These aren't pap pics snapped through a telefoto at some obscure Seattle eatery.
Frankly, the weight gain wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't fucking up all her plastic surgery. She needs a damn hair and makeup person though. She looks like ass from the neck up.

As much as I have traditionally been a Courtney-basher (almost psychotically so),I would MUCH rather see a heavier Courtney, than a drugged-out, neglectful Mom, out of control Courtney. And Hollywood does suck. Realistically, she is not heavier than most 40 year old women (yes, metabolism does slow things down).

Here's the story. That's too bad. I saw her on either Access Hollywood or Extra the other night at Pam Anderson's Comedy Central Roast. She was boasting about being clean and sober for over a year and looked really proud, the press line was even applauding her. I hope (for the sake of her daughter) she can get her life in order. |
