Watched it again-now I remember!
Damn, that's one of my favorite Tom Petty songs, too.

Whoa, back it up there. Beep, beep, beep. There was a crowd lined up to see Scott Stapp? I know! It's a popular smallish venue that always has someone playing on a Saturday night, but when I saw Scott Stapp's name on the marquee, I could not stop laughing! The bigger the name, the more metered parking spaces on the street that are blocked off from the regular public. Scott was not quite at the Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff level, but he was closer to them than a college or washed up 80s band.

*shrug*
Could be just a lot of hired extras for filming a video or some such thing (you know...'look at all these people, they like him, so you should too...jump on board the fan base 'cause this train is LEAVING THE STATION!').
Heh. Scott Stapp. So that's what that is loosening the phlegm from my throat and making me cough so.

From This articleWell, I agree that somebody does not like you Scott. LOTS of somebodies don't like you. Lots os somebodies want you to fail, if that means you will finally go away. But you made the ridiculous sex tape without destroying it after; you got drunk and acted the fool in an airport the day after your wedding; you insist on making asinine music that still sounds just like Creed, which means that all songs sound the same. Maybe taking a little personal responsibility is in order here? Is that too much to ask? In other news, I went to Home Depot the other night and noticed that the Tool Aisle is now known as Scott Stapp land.

He had a concert in town last weekend and I just happened to drive by the theater (it's across the street from the mall where I was headed). I was tempted to roll down the window and yell out, "It's good to be the king!" (which he says on the sex tape) to the crowd lined up outside, but chickened out because taunting his fans wouldn't be very nice of me Whoa, back it up there. Beep, beep, beep. There was a crowd lined up to see Scott Stapp? Please tell me they were carrying torches and pitchforks.

Scott Stapp saying that people are trying to make him look bad is like Michael Jackson saying that people are trying to humiliate him. It's not necessary to try. You just sit back and let them do it themselves.

Ya know, I'm thinking it's God that's trying to keep Scott Stapp down. There are just some things even the Big Guy wouldn't inflict on the world.

In other news, I went to Home Depot the other night and noticed that the Tool Aisle is now known as Scott Stapp land. Squee! That made me choke on my salad. And with that I may have a new sig line. As for the "Someone" out to get him. Jesus Christ on a soggy cracker! No Scott, I wasn't talking about you and your christ complex. But who has that little of a life, to "ruin" Scott Stapp's life? Seems he is doing a fine job of being a grade A Jerkass on his own.
