Steve Buscemi

LOVE! HIM! I will watch anything he is in at least once, and usually because of him. Among my circle of friends, he is known as "The Buscemi"... as in:

"This movie looks kinda sucky"
"Yeah, but look. It's got The Buscemi!"
"We're so there!!!"

or

"That movie DID suck!"
"Could have used a lot more Buscemi!"

The Buscemi was a "Hey, it's That Guy" for me for a long time until Living in Oblivion. That movie sealed my love for The Buscemi forever (as well as my love for all things Peter Dinklage. THE Dinklage if you will)

I love the Buscemi, but I have to say he's one of the most unattractive people I've ever laid eyes on. He's so great as Donnie in The Big Lebowski and I thought he was great as Tony Blundetto on the last season of The Sopranos.

And he was the best part of Ghost World. I could almost see why someone would want to date him, despite the fact that I don't find him attractive he has a quality that makes me really like him and want to get to know him.

I'm just glad he's okay.

He's a real class act. Not only for what he did post 9/11, but also because of the projects he chooses. I loved him in Fargo, and I saw him in The Laramie Project last month and he made me cry. He's an amazing actor, director, person. Heck, I even loved him in Spy Kids.

I like Buscemi, I think he's really funny. ;D Not too atractive with those goggling eyes and oversized lips, but he's got an interesting face.

IIRC, he has pretty steadfastly refused to talk about the 9/11 stuff, too, other than I think some fund raising work for the families of the firefighters.

He's sexy in an ugly sort of way.

Oh god, I got really worried he was dead when I saw his name. I was surprised by how old he looked in that Ewan-Scarlett bomb The Island. I think he's terrific - he's doing some directing nowadays, isn't he?
