Apparently he has a movie out called Lonesome Jim that he directed. It's gotten mixed reviews but Ebert & Roeper gave it two thumbs up, for what it's worth. He's great on the Sopranos.

I saw Lonesome Jim this past weekend in New York, and the Buscemi answered questions afterwards. It was a cute little indy; nothing ground breaking, but a solid movie none the less. It was weird seeing Steve IRL, he looks way more normal.

Interesting you should say he looked normal in real life...I always sort of wondered because he gives off a creepy vibe more than pretty much anyone else.
He's super talented though. I loved him in Ghost World. And Fargo. And, of course, The Big Lebowski.

Nope he was totally normal. At first people were a little reticent about asking questions and most of them were pretty dumb when they did ask them, but he was really gracious about the whole thing. Also his hair was short and not at all the greasy like it usually is in movies and tv.

I'm going to see Lonesome Jim as soon as it comes to a theater in my home town, and I can tell I'm going to enjoy it...I saw some recent pics of Steve B. at the premiere and his hair was short and he looked good.

He's in most of the Coen Brothers' movies; how can you argue with that?

I even love his cameos in Adam Sandler's movies. He was hysterical in The Wedding Singer.

He totally makes Con Air as fun as it is. Only he could redeem crap like that.

Am I the only one who FLOVED him in 28 Days? He was PRECIOUS as the jaded rehab counselor in that.

I heard a funny Buscemi story a few years ago. When he was in Alabama, filming "Big Fish", he walked into a store and the guy who ran the place immediately started screaming stuff like "Shut the fluck up, Donnie! You're out of your element!" and frightened Steve, or may just freaked him out, and he just left the store.
