This is just a bad situation all around.

I follow her on Twitter. She just tweeted:
If she has a conservator, would she be given pocket money anyway?
Why do I get the feeling that even if someone (like her parents) were to arrange for housing for her (on a third-party basis), she wouldn't be satisfied with that? (I'm not judging her; I'm just saying...)

At this point in her sanity, she may just take whatever money she's given and blow it on drugs, questionable friends, or hair extensions and then wind up sleeping on the street. Not a lot anyone can do about it.

So it seems her parents did not leave her homeless , like she's been saying. She just doesn't like the location of the place they are providing her. It's too far away from Hollywood for her. Jeez, Glendale is a whole 7 miles from Hollywood, and they got her a car service... what is the problem?

I've seen footage of Amanda on ET being followed by paps with segments where ET interviews various people who have had contact with her -- a waitress, a driver. And what is the point of all this "reporting"? To reiterate she's KARAAAZZZEEEEE!!! It's disgusting, and I wish it would stop. I'm sure these assholes find ways to justify what they are doing so they can sleep at night, but they are lying to themselves. Harassing a mentally ill person for the purpose of profit and entertainment is sick and wrong. Period.

TMZ is reporting she's trashing her roommates flat, getting blue dye and cigarette burns everywhere. The mom of one of the real roommates, who co-signed the lease, tried to get Amanda's parents to pay for the damage, but Amanda's mom told her they knew she was impaired before they invited her to live with them, so that's on them.
Can't say I disagree.

- Amanda's parents are surrendering conservatorship over her, right? Plus, Amanda's no longer a minor. How would Amanda's parents be on the hook for this?

Ah yes. Many a parent with a college-aged kid has signed off on a lease and had this happen. This is when you pick up the bill, scold your child, and never sign off on a lease again as a lesson learned for both of you.
