I love him. I like that he's owned up to being difficult, emotionally dysfunctional, etc. I wouldn't want to be married to him but he seems like someone who's done a lot of work on himself, and I respect that.

He's hysterical. Has anybody else seen that special at Aspen where they interviewed the surviving members of Python, and they kicked Graham Chapman's "ashes" to the floor? Well, Cleese's rant along the lines of "Oh, sure now you give us this award!" had my howling.

His eulogy for Graham Chapman was a thing of beauty.

Does anybody else remember when he appeared on an episode of Cheers, counseling Sam & Diane?

Thanks to dating an Englishman with a borderline unhealthy appetite for all things Monty Python I've developed a new appreciation for Mr. Cleese. He was awesome in The Holy Grail and still proved that he could be funny on Will & Grace (even though the show was not).

Add to that he owns up to not being perfect - what's not to love?

I think he's married to a therapist of some sort, that must help. I also heard a totally strange rumor that he had his cats voice box(?) removed. Has anyone else heard that?
