Isn't Jay Z her manager?

She performed in Belleville, Ontario just the other day. Obviously she has not quite arrived yet.

Horrible singer, crap music, beautiful girl. Wonder if it's true she slept with Jay Z so he could give her a record deal...

Her voice is decent enough for the dance songs, but the one about being a murderer or whatever makes my ears scream for mercy. I saw part of her performance on the Today show last week and the emphasis was definitely more on preening and posing than singing.

I loathe that murderer song. Especially about putting the gun to his head and getting it over with. The hell? I mean I get what she means, but little girls listen to this stuff.

Oh yeah, that murderer song. Awful.
On the Today Show she was posing and prancing really inappropriately for the tone of that song-- you really shouldn't do the Mariah power note hand-wave when you're singing through your nose about being a heartless cheater. I hope the imaginary guy in that song moves on and has a nice life.
In MN they actually silence-out parts of the song-- there's some reference to a gun, but it's edited out. What's the line?

I mentioned it up thread, but she "soulfully" sings that she "might has well put a gun against his head and get it over with..."

Ah, thanks. I saw the post but didn't realize that was the exact quote. That song is way too much of a pity party for someone with an inflated ego.
I still enjoy S.O.S. though. Catchy. But don't make me listen to it more than once every two or three days...
