He's posted his attorney's statement on Instagram:

"We are grateful to the New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau for investigating this matter. We appreciate that the report exonerates Mr. Baldwin by making clear that he believed the gun held only dummy rounds. Additionally, the report recognizes that Mr. Baldwin's authority on the production was limited to approving script changes and creative casting. Mr. Baldwin had no authority over the matters that were the subject of the Bureau's findings of violations, and we are pleased that the New Mexico officials have clarified these critical issues. We are confident than the individuals identified in the report will be held accountable for this tragedy."

I guess it's an improvement that he's letting his lawyers do the talking vs. spouting off on his own, but I still find this statement rather sickening.

Why would it matter if he believed the gun contained dummy rounds if he never pulled the trigger, as he has claimed so many times.

Hilaria announced via a highly pretentious Insta post that they are expecting another daughter. It's a video of the family (all the kids who can talk) sharing advice for the new baby--what she describes as her children offering "the most simple, kind wisdom." So I was expecting a bunch of actual, childlike wishes. But no, it's a very scripted list of high minded thoughts. Like Carmen saying "you are a complicated and multifaceted human" and the boys saying stuff like "have the courage to look within," "take the time to know yourself," and "all things human are fluid and on the spectrum."

My eyes rolled into the back of my head.

I'll give them this though, they do make super cute kids.

That video is bonkers. The kids are all clearly coached to be saying this stuff, and they also say a lot that is clearly meant to defend Hilaria like “live freely in your cultures.” Plus she still has her fake accent in it. Never mind the fact that she said all of these things about being gender inclusive and two seconds later made them all say “my daughter” and “my sister.”

I will hand it to her- the crazy runs deep, she’s very committed to it.

Alec Baldwin gets up to scream at an assistant in what I'm reading was very poor Spanish during a live Instagram chat with Woody Allen. The entire chat was bedeviled by internet connection problem's on Woody's end.

I think calling that "screaming" is a big stretch. It sounds to me like he was speaking loudly to someone who was in another part of the house, so they could hear him.

I'm not interested in defending Baldwin, in particular related to his interview of Allen (a man I abhor and wish he would just go away already). I just don't think this is it. Roast Alec for doing the interview at all- that I am onboard with. This "screaming" is a stretch imho.
