Interesting. I wonder if Scarlett isn't feeling a bit insecure about this. Comparisons are bound to happen and in the scale of hotness, Charlize trumps Scarjo by a mile. Plus, she's tight with Oscar.

LIFE AND STYLE actually published the story about the Ryan-Scarlett dinner before the PEOPLE article was released today.

So, he's dating Blake Lively. Will he tire of being papped constantly or are they in it for the long haul (by Hollywood standards)? What was going on this summer with Sandra Bullock?

I think Leo got eventually tired of the pap games and dumped her, regardless of what she leaked to the media. He may have been initially taken by her but caught on to what she was up to and ended the relationship. However, I don't think he cares enough to dispute the rumors of being dumped, otherwise his publicist would have countered with something else. Ryan strikes me as the same type of guy. He's attracted to her for all the obvious reasons but if every single one of his movements is reported to the tabloids he may have the same problem.
Blake should be careful. If she gets a reputation of being mega attention seeking that being linked to her becomes a joke, she won't attract the same guys she's attracting now. She will be another J.LO. I know that JL supposedly landed The Coop and he's considered A-list these days, but I think those two are evenly matched in their famewhore ways. To her advantage, Blake seems nice enough and not high maintenance, probably not even close to Scarlett so this relationship may be a welcome change for Ryan.

Ryan R. and Sandra Bullock have been friends for more than ten years. His production company partner, Jonathon Komack Martin, introduced him and Sandra; the partner has been friends with Sandra for a long time, and he was one of the producers of "The George Lopez Show." Sandra seemily attended the premiere of THE CHANGE-UP to support both Ryan and Jonathon. Now, Ryan, Sandra and Jonathon are executive producing an upcoming animated series for FOX. Ryan is co-writing it, and he and Sandra will be the lead voice cast. Basically, Ryan and Sandra say that they are just very close friends. Ryan-Scarlett and Sandra-Jesse used to vacation together when they were married. Ryan attended her wedding. It just so happened that both of their marriages crumbled in 2010, and I think they were able to support each other and made their friendship stronger.

Exactly. It is indeed possible for a man and a woman to be platonic friends, it happens all the time.

I never got romantic vibes between him & Sandy. I like their close friendship.

I saw him on Top Gear this week. He was the star in a reasonably priced car and did a lap around the track. I thought he was really funny and charming. "Yeah, I did want to beat Tom Cruise. I wasn't talking about the driving though."

I saw Safe House last weekend ( The Vow was sold out ) and it was a solid action movie. His role could've been played by just about any 30ish actor, though. I wish he would do another Rom Com, a good one, because he is very funny and charming.

And I just can't stop killing, either.
