I loved him. He is the perfect person for that show. The master of that kind of comedy. I have not seen him do that kind of work since In Living Colour. I said the same thing to Mr. Spin. He and physical comedy go hand and hand. Watching him on SNL just made me remember all of his antics and hilarious moments on ILC. And I really, really missed it. He's a talented actor doing drama on screen, but how much fun would it be to have him do this again -- maybe revitalize SNL? Nah. But at least something for TV.

This was one of my most favorite (and most hilarious) moments on In Living Color. He wasn't one of my favorites on the show but this was chock-full of win!

And holy crap, those animatronic things were creepy as hell. He and Taran did that almost too well. Eeeesh. Deliciously creepy. I freaked out my mother on the Small World ride at Disney by telling her the little robots were coming to get her, so that skit had me busting a gut. "I can take you to safety... but only one at a time." Jim's willingness to commit to a bit really impresses me. That full body, backwards flop into the snow during the "Finding Your Power" skit was delightful. He's said that as a teen, he practiced pratfalls by doing one after the other, like other kids do push-ups. He's still got it, apparently.

Jim as the "Black Swan" last night was completely hilarious. Not a big Carrey fan, but he was just fabulous last night in that skit, and you could tell he wasn't looking off to the side at cue cards either. He was just completely improvising and nailing it.

Seriously, I forgot how funny he could be. Its been a long time since he has been in a good comedy. I am curious about I Love You Phillip Morris. It sounded stupid to me but a lot of reviews have said it is funny and surprisingly dark. It's not a stupid movie at all, it's actually quite good. The sick thing of it is that it's based on a true story. Most of the outrageous things his character does are things a real guy actually did. It's nuts. And he's quite good in it. The only real complaint I have is that I wish someone would convince Ewan MacGregor to please stop trying to do any kind of American accent. It's just embarrassing.

That is good to hear (except the part about Ewan MacGregor once again attempting an American accent). I think I was wondering about this since it has been delayed for a couple of years and Hollywood tends to not do well when depicting relationships between two men. But I will check it out now.

That was my favorite! I keep giggling every time I picture it.

The delay was more political than anything else. It was released in Europe and Asia long before the U.S., and the distributors kept refusing to release it for some reason. The same thing happened to the movie about Darwin.

I remember when he used to do the back flop on In Living Color! I thought that he did a great job and really brought back memories of watching ILC back in junior high. Vera DeMilo!
