She seems like she's a nice and kind person, but professionally she annoys the crap out of me. I hate how she dances and much of her acting seems to consist of showcasing her implants.

There's a photo spread in the new Allure (the one with Kate Beckinsale on the cover) of her and she looks so pretty in it. She's always looked so fake and plastic but she cleaned up really beautifully. And her implants aren't hanging out for once.

I really like her, too. She has the same appeal for me as Pam Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, etal. I like that they don't pretend to be great talents. They admit that they have implants and are pretty much man candy. They aren't like Jennifer Lopez or Britney where they try to have empires or pretend that they are triple threats. Sure they sell things but even a pin-up has to make a living.

Miss Electra was the only good (or watchable) thing in that Jenny McCarthy abortion of a movie, Dirty Love.

Miss McCarthy isn't 1/1000 as funny as she thinks she might be. Wonder what her evenings with Jim Carrey are like. Do they both try too hard? Does that make it hard?

I agree and I think it has to do with their backgrounds. Pam grew up in Canada, and Jenny and Carmen are both Midwesterners. While they all were successful fairly young, they weren't child actors or anything. Carmen got very lucky while building her career (dating Prince, etc.), but I think she also worked hard too.

I don't dislike her really, but I have to admit I'm not a fan of the famous bimbo s lut. Without her implants, plastic surgery and willingness to objectify herself she'd be a nobody. "Dating Prince" is a nice euphemism for a relationship where she was allowed to sleep with him but not talk about it and he was allowed to sleep with anyone.

I never had much of an opinion on her until a friend of mine waited on her in an upscale restaurant. My friend said she was one of the nicest people she'd ever met. I've liked her ever since. (Anyone, especially a celebrity, who treats a service industry person poorly deserves their own special place in hell, IMO.)

Has she had surgery other than the implants? I watched one of those E! True Hollywood Story type things (maybe Driven on VH1?) about Carmen and they showed a lot of old pictures of her and she didn't seem to have had any major, obvious surgery on her face.

It's been confirmed (by InTouch of all places) that Carmen and Dave have split.

In Touch has learned exclusively that Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have split.

The couple, who were married for two-and-a-half years, have denied rumors of trouble for the past few months, but their publicist released a statement to In Touch on July 17 stating: "Carmen and Dave have amicably split.”
