I love it although I am not sure why! It is creepy, but there is something deliciously sly about it. Is the artist a secret republican?

I think the painting is kind of awesome, but I hope for the artist's sake they don't still have capital punishment in Denmark.

The artist is apparently a favourite of the Danish Queen who likes this kind of thing. At least that's what he said in an interview that I read yesterday. He has painted her before so she knew what he would do. I like it too. I wish he'd do something similar with the British Royals ;-) Can you imagine?!
