Does that mean that the two-year-old is handicapped too?

If that story is true, I suspect that she either used a donor egg but carried the latest pregnancy herself or used a surrogate for the whole shebang.

She most definitely used at least donor eggs. That article said she is 50.

I see she's still blaming Kawasaki syndrome for Jett's autism. *sigh*

Well, all parents like to blame something. It's very difficult to not know how or why your child gets a chronic illness. Why can't it be Kawasaki? The autism could have been laying dormant before it had a trigger.
I think you can be genetically predisposed to all kinds of things, but you may never get the trigger that brings it to life. I don't believe that vaccines CAUSE autism (or lots of other things), but the stress on the body caused by a vaccine maybe can. As well as sometimes even just a common virus.
Anyway, the kid looks just like a Travolta (or ha, Lily Tomlin) - so who knows.

For years this idiot claimed that Kawasaki syndrome was the child's ONLY problem. It's one thing to say, "I wonder ..." and another completely to inform the world (including grieving, impressionable parents of autistic children who are grasping at straws of their own) that you KNOW what caused your kid's problems while denying that the biggest problem even exists because your "church" says that either you caused it somehow or your child brought it on himself. (Or, more craven still, knowing what the problem is but lying about it to the public because you and your "church" want to appear perfect.) I don't have much pity for this woman -- especially if she's abandoned her first child in search of fame, which does appear to be the case.

How disabled is this alleged first child? Living with her parents (surely someone would have pictures of him by now) or living in some sort of home? It doesn't really matter because yeah, you do NOT pretend a child doesn't exist. I'm not sure how people ever live with their decisions.
Speaking of - didn't we learn that Jett was indeed medicated against the clams teachings? I thought I read back when he died that they had tried a ton of different medications for seizures.

How reliable is the information that she has a first child with disabilities being raised by her parents? Sometimes, with the internet, a lie or gossip told often enough becomes the truth, to paraphrase Lenin.
I think Kelly is reprehensible on many levels, but is there any evidence or proof that she abandoned her first child?

I think Kelly is reprehensible on many levels, but is there any evidence or proof that she abandoned her first child? No. There's been tons of speculation and gossip about it for years, mostly on the anti-Scieno boards, but no one has found any proof at all that it's true.

I have about zero patience or respect for people who talk in blanket terms about 'chemicals.' WATER is a chemical, and that kind of idiotic, 'science terms are scary' talk is what leads to people thinking vaccines directly cause autism.
