Do we even know what kind of cancer she had? The one article I read around the time of Jackie Brown she refused to specify.

She and Jennifer Beals have great chemistry together as sisters on The L Word but the material Pam's given to work with is mostly pretty poor, especially all the faux-ghetto speak.

In 1975, she was on the cover of Ms. Magazine, the first African-American woman to do so. She was so gorgeous and so cool then, and still is now.

I loved her in Jackie Brown; especially her romance with Robert Forster. They made a kick-ass couple in that movie.
