I was lucky enough to see Sean in London in "the Scottish Play". He was so incredibly virile, there were people openly swooning in their seats. The lucky actress who played Lady M had a scene with Sean where she got to straddle him in bed. *thud*

I've been a Bean fan since Patriot Games, of course I didn't know who the hell he was but all I could think was that he was frickin' awesome and hot. However, if I had to pick one thing, it's teh sexth this is the man's voice. He kills me everytime.

Another good Bean movie is Stormy Monday. Not so much for the movie, but the 80's clothes and Melanie Griffiths hair is hysterical, but for Sean who is shirtless in quiet a few scenes. You also get bum and some willy when he's in a bathtub. Wow, I sound like a pervert. Mr. Hapagirl said, "he's so skinny," and young!

Sean Bean is so damn sexy that I need a cold shower after I see him. I think my favorite movie of his is "Bravo Zero Two Zero." A hunky military special forces man.... yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
BTW, just wanted to add that this is my first post ever on one of these FT-like forums. I lurked there for months and months but never posted, even though I read the Sean Bean thread religiously. THANK YOU, Moldy Tofu, for letting us continue to worship at his holy altar over here.
ETA: a response which I accidentally posted in a 2nd post:

I happen to like Pierce Brosnan but he's not sexy so much as debonair. Sean, however, is 9000 degrees of hot. As for the scar, well, I thought it add to his sexiness. What can I say, the man would be lickable even if he had the Phantom of the Opera's half-mask on his face. It's the jaw, the cheekbones, those lips....

Long hair, short hair, bearded, clean shaven, sweaty, filthy, even dying.....there's not one moment in any movie that I didn't want to jump into the screen and do Sean Bean right then and there. Just. GAH.
Oh, sure, there was that one fleeting moment of disappointment when I clicked on his Endowment link, but I choose to believe he's a grower.

I read the Sharpe books when I was a kid and was horrified when they cast this short, blond, rough looking northerner as my tall, dark and handsome cockney Rifleman. This Bean bloke, who made such a good bisexual rent boy in Carravaggio, was NEVER going to live up to my image of Richard Sharpe.
He won me over in the first five minutes.
Sex on legs.

The Henry VIII miniseries was pretty bad, but I can't make myself get rid of tapes that have Sean Bean.
He did wonders with Boromir. I thought he was more believable as a leader in his TTT speech than Aragorn was at the Black Gate.

Got into him when I saw him as Boromir.
He's very... rugged. An old fashioned manliness you don't see much of these days in the era of Tom Cruise and Orlando Bloom.
I like Tom and Orlando but Bean is hot in a more primitive way.

Kind of unpopular around these parts, but I can't really get into him. He'll always be an Irish terrorist to me. He's my personal Hey! It's That Guy! He'd pop up in various things over the years, and I'd think "Hey, it's Sean Miller." I guess it's to his credit that he was so convincing and memorable in Patriot Games -- an otherwise less-than memorable movie -- but I've never been able to shake off the sinister, psychopathic vibe. I was surprised and confused when I saw a trailer for a remake of Anna Karenina and saw he was playing Vronsky. Who? What? Huh?
