I can't remember the last time I watched the Tonys, but I had to tune in just for him. His closing number was awesome.

OMG, sushi joke! Seriously, I will applaud if NPH wins his much-deserved and long-overdue Emmy and immediately uses it to beat Pivert in the face.
"Our next presenter...blah blah blahcakes...coming out for the second time this month...David Hyde Pierce!"
Awesome. I feel like he's writing his own banter, he's making it seem so natural and unscripted.

Aw, happy birthday Neil!
hunter, when you and NPH get married, what's going to happen to David Burtka? Do we set him up with T.R. Knight, or what?
I caught a repeat on Lifetime tonight of the HIMYM episode where Ted gets the tramp stamp. Barney's near faint when he sees it always cracks me up.

I got his birthday gift right here. I can't be concerned with David Burthka and his feelings. I mean, I can, but he has to understand that Neil and I are meant to be. Maybe I'll have Dwan set him up with one of the gay posse for maximum awkwardness and drama at gatherings! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) HIMYM is the only current sitcom I watch repeats of, with pleasure. I think it's an awesome show overall but NPH is a big factor in making sure even episodes I've seen before are funny a second time. IT'S MY FIANCE'S BIRTHDAY! WOO!

If I had the powah to set NPH up with anyone, you think I'd be begging the posse to bring him for instant Tier 1 status?!

You're not setting NPH up - you're setting Burthka up with a posse member after Neil & I get together and he kicks Burthka to the curb. This will give me & Neil ample opportunities to flaunt our true love in front of his ex at BMNs & BBQs.
How long have they been together anyway?

I'm amazed he grew up to so charming and fairly handsome.
I thought he was such a dork when he was Doogie (but I was a kid then, but still..I would have never guessed he'd grow up to be goodlooking and charming).

I don't know what possessed me, the last time I watched it was probably 1989; but I turned on Sesame Street today and lo and behold there was NPH doing a full-on song and dance number as the "Shoe Fairy" getting Telly Monster a new pair of shoes. It was adorable. He was having a blast. I called my daughter (who is 25 and lives in another state!) and we watched it together.
