Squee!
Only he can save this show from the crap fest that it was last year (and for a good chunk of past years).

Man, normally I get annoyed when celebrities start getting so ubiquitous, but with NPH? I'm like, bring it on! Moar please!

Love him. I hope the Emmy is his. So glad the Emmy people finally got sick of Piven.

I'm so happy he was nominated! And Piven wasn't, was he? Looks like it's NPH emmy this year! I'm also happy that Jim Parsons from the Big bang theory was nominated too.

Where's the love for NPH & his Emmy hosting abilities?
Thought he did a fantastic job as host - loved his opening number, loved the Dr. Horrible bit, and thought he brought a nice bit of snark and sarcasm to the show without going over the top - the show was still cheesy, but more fun and I think a little more geared towards a younger crowd. But then, maybe I'm just getting old.
Would love to see him host the Oscars.

I thought he did a great job. Loved that bit he did with Jon Cryer.

For me he's like the perfect host: Very charming and funny with just a wee bit of snark. But importantly, he seems warm. I adore Letterman and Jon Stewart but neither have the type of warmth necessary to host a show to a wide audience. You need a certain non-threatening quality: Johnny Carson had it and so does Neil Patrick Harris. Most of the past award show hosts and current talk show hosts lack this quality.
