Disgusting racist rhetoric aside, these girls make some really shitty music. I don't know how anyone could call them talented. Whoever plays the violin is terrible. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Sorry if this thread violates the rules; I just thought that since these girls were pseudo-celebrities (albeit in an infamous manner)...but I wouldn't want this board to be flooded by the polite-yet-insane racists either. EDITED TO ADD: Er...my brain isn't working. I meant to modify my original post and instead made a new one. :-\

I think it's OK to snark on them. They're 13 now, right? By the age of 12 I was questioning things my parents said when I heard things that were different than their beliefs, or asking questions about things I saw on TV or heard out in the world. I realize these girls are homeschooled and probably not usually without their mom, but unless all TV and media is banned they are of the age where they should be realizing there are many differing opinions in the world. If they refuse to explore them, they are ignorant parrots like all racists - closing their minds off to any kind of logic or intelligent discussion.

Thats the sad thing about this, they are kids and are already a waste to society, Hee, hee. I'm sorry, at 13, they should be starting to think for themselves. But then again, if they think they can get famous, even if it's just in a fringe group, then they might stick with it. Or they might be as dumb as rocks and never question anything their mother taught them. They can't sing, and they're only put out there because of how they look. They're like the Jessica and Ashlee Simpson of the white supremacist movement.

See I don't think they have been taught or even been exposed to anything outside of what their mother believes, they are home schooled, social activities within a select group of like minded people, moved house to a 'whiter' location. Any opportunity these kids to see something different has been cut off. Once there are 16-18 and are no longer dependent on their mother that may change but not until then. Combine that with the praise and sucess they get for being this way only reinforces what their mother is saying, that they are right and (most of) the world is wrong.

Damn, they really give the word talentless a whole new meaning. They sound like one of those delusional people that audition for American Idol, but end up on the best of the worst special afterwards.

I was just thinking about that! Do you think it's safe for those girls to be on stage giving the "Sieg Heil" salute? That's a really good way to incite some serious fury. What kind of mother would put her two children in that position. Those poor, brainwashed girls. Although that pic of them wear the Adolf tees makes me want to smack some sense into them.
Their sis' middle name is Hale? Oh, barf. My God. A friend of mine interviewed him for a student documentary years ago. She went to his house, and her description of the event is the creepiest thing I've ever heard. *Shudder*
That lady who said "Screw y'all" is my new hero.

The way I see it, these two are a most five years away from a raging meth addiction, which will destroy their looks and career in short order.

Normally, I'd say that neo-Nazi freaks should be watched veeerrrrrry closely. But not in the case of this pathetic little singing act. If we don't think about these girls, they'll go the fuck away.

I was homeschooled at thirteen by a racist, homophobic mother as well, though she wasn't quite as hardcore as Lynx and Lamb's mommy dearest. Even at that age I knew my mom was full of shit and that her (as well as 99% of my family's) opinions were ridiculous, but I did have cable TV and music as a permanent fixture in my life. Perhaps they're more sheltered than I was, and maybe they'll open their eyes one day, but until then I'll snark on them. I hate those shit-eating grins on their faces in the pic someone posted a page or two back.

That's why I can't snark on them, at least until they are teenagers. They are completely isolated from society. They live on a remote ranch. The mother homeschools them. The racist grandfather, their only male role model, is a huge figure in their lives. When they do go to their hate rallies, they're glorified for what they are singing. Those are some pretty daunting conditions to overcome to be able to have an original opinion. I would also say their upbringing is extremely similar to being raised in a cult. People who have been raised in a cult do sometimes come around to form their own opinions, but not by the age of twelve. I wouldn't expect them to start questioning things until they are teenagers. It's the exceptional twelve year old, who raised under similar circumstances, that could break free of such indoctrination. I just don't think many kids, if any, are capable of that.
