Now Laura Bush is claiming he's being "manipulative".
I don't want to start a political thing here, but goddammit, what the HELL is wrong with these people? You call yourselves Christians? Have a little compassion.

Laura Bush doesn't normally come out to make specific personal attacks on individuals, does she? Perhaps she does and my lamentable memory is at fault, but I think this is unusual.
I'm not saying that in defense or support of Laura Bush. Rather, my thinking is that, if she (who rarely goes on the offensive) is joining in on the MJF attacks, then the Conservatives must be scared witless by the impact of his ads.
Laura still has a significantly higher popularity rating than her husband (not that that says much), so I'm reading this as the GOP turning to her to help them out before the elections. IOW, they're freaking out. And if the national poll results I posted last week are true, then they have reason to be since MJF's ad has influenced Republicans as well.

I totally agree. If Laura Bush has found time to talk about it his ads must be making a significant impact that has got the conservatives shaking in their boots. It's couldn't be claerer to me that his campaign must be working.
Keep going MJF! You've got them rattled!

Fox admitted to George Stephanopoulos that he didn't even read Missouri's Amendment 2, which is the focus of his ad for McCaskill. Why would anyone endorse something he/she hasn't even read?

I'm guessing it's pretty hard to understand unless you're a lawyer. He probably had someone with a law degree read it for him.
ETA: I just re-watched the Missouri ad, and he doesn't even specifically mention Amendment Two. The ad is endorsing the democratic candidate. He mentions that the republican candidate wants to outlaw stem cell research, but doesn't mention Amendment Two.
It's not a pro Amendment Two ad, it's a pro democratic candidate ad. The democratic candidate is pro stem cell research, the republican candidate is not. The issues are linked, but that commercial is not a Amendment Two commercial. He doesn't specifically endorse Amendment Two, or even mention it.

The part where four of his castmates from an early TV show were also diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's made my jaw drop.
