I can offer a little info. I was watching the Best Week Ever last night (catch it if you can, it should repeat all weekend), and they played a clip from him being on Ellen. He was talking about his character in Be Cool, and he said that he really identified with him. He was ticking off ways in which he identified with him, starting off with him being an aspiring actor, and then he says "and not only is he a proud gay man..." then he waits a beat, looks at the audience, raises an eyebrow and makes an affirmative noise (I tried typing the noise, but it looks dumb. Kinda like "anh?"). So there you have it. I don't know, if he is gay, someone should tell his wife.

Me neither. Best Week Ever just took the quote out of context & tacked some lame jokes to it, which they've done a lot of lately, but I digress. It wouldn't bother me if he was gay, I'm just saying that if it were true, then it would've been old news, tabs-wise by now.

Did anyone actually catch it in context, i.e. on the Ellen show?

I saw the Ellen show that day, and I totally didn't take it as him coming out, he was just describing his charater, not until I saw Best Week Ever did I see it that way. But no, I don't think he was coming out.
Oh, and I <3 The Rock!

A few years ago, at the height of The Rock's popularity (maybe when it was still the WWF), I saw The Rock on an episode of Martha Stewart Living. It was the strangest thing to see at 2am. He was very sweet to Martha, and he baked and frosted a heart-shaped cookie for his wife. I've had a soft spot for him ever since.

I got The Rock's autograph back in 2000. He only signed for me and one other person. He really manages to convey a feeling of cool without even saying a word. It's almost magical.

There is something about the man that is so magnetic. I'm so sad that he doesn't wrestle anymore. But, I adore him and love to see him.
