Didn't she admit in her autiobio that she was something of a ho? I am pretty sure I read that she had that rep. That book is selling for $90-$100 on Amazon. Didn't she "date" Howard Hughes?

Everybody dated Howard Hughes-Lana Turner, Ava Gardner, Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth, Kathryn Grayson, Terry Moore, Gene Tierney. The list is long.

When a friend told me that Lily Munster and Moses' wife were the same actress I didn't believe it. So we looked it up in a movie guide and -- she was!
(This light-weight research also, in a convoluted way, led us to find out that the original Morticia Addams, Carolyn Jones, was in King Creole with Elvis Presley.)
And as for DeCarlo being a 'ho, hell, good for her. I'm glad she lived it up.

I have to give Yvonne DeCarlo credit.
Yes, she was a beautiful actress pre-Munsters; however, she never ran away from it. She embraced the fact that many knew her more as Lily than her film roles.
Fred Gwynne, on the other hand, hated to talk about playing Herman Munster. He felt he didn't want to be defined by that role.
R.I.P. Lily.
