"I Believe", "Mad World", and "Woman in Chains" are amazing songs.
And, yeah, Roland Orzabal is a great, great name. It sounds like a weird breed of plant.

I also like the version of Mad World that's on the Gears of War video game ad. I believe it's from Donnie Darko.

Yep, Grumpy Girl, it's featured in Donnie Darko. It's by Gary Jules.

I used to listen to The Hurting practically every day when it came out. All alone in my room with my angst and Tears For Fears to comfort me. One of my favorite albums from my high school days.

This sounds so dumb, but... I watched MTV a lot back in 1985 when I was stuck in the house with my toddler (who's now 22!!!) Anyway, the "Shout" video with them singing on a cliff was on a lot. I do like them, but did anybody else think they both have rather large teeth? Just me then? That always kind of bothered me.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World is one of my all time favorite songs. I have a greatest hits cd; I play EWRW, Head Over Heels and Advice for the Young at Heart all the time.
Gary Jules version of Mad World > Tears for Fears. His version is haunting while their version is silly.

Also, is this a trailer or video from Donnie Darko? I agree. While I like their version, I love his. That video you posted is for the song, not a trailer. If I remember correctly, it's an extra on the most recent DVD edition. Songs from the Big Chair was practically the soundtrack of my youth. I love EWtRtW and "The Working Hour." However, I think my favorite of their songs is still "Change."
