I inexplicably love him. He's totally pretentious, and a tool, but I can't help it, i loooove him.

I still think he's hot and I even don't mind his band. I don't love the band but, I do think there are worse out there. AND, as if that wasn't bad enough, i really like their new video. That may have more to do with me loving all things from China though.

And, a fued between him and Elijah would be HIGH-larious.

I, too, think he's probably a dick, but talented people I admire (David Fincher) seem to like working with him and his wonky edge. Fincher's commentary on his work in Panic Room is pretty funny. Yes, the cornrows were not only Leto's idea, but he had them done without approval before shooting. Fincher loved them and they were in. The "Making Of" documentaries on that movie's 17-disc set reveal him to be a dedicated and inventive performer, too.

I thought he was perfect in Requiem for a Dream. He's getting good reviews as Mark David Chapman, isn't he?

Right, but then there's the director of American Psycho (Mary Something or Other?) who said she would never work with him again and that he would say really rude things while other people (Christian Bale!!) were shooting.
Blech. My crush on Jordan Catalano will never die, but it definitely doesn't extend to the actor himself. He makes me nauseous.

Jared Leto and his band used to look like this. I actually like his voice and music, but am totally turned off by the tortured black eyeliner artist crap he's attached to it. You would think since he has the disadvantage of being called an actor who is playing musician he'd concentrate on the music and avoid any kind of pretentious asshattery to keep the focus on his music. He must be a total idiot.

Huh? I didn't see any major eyeliner there-I was expect some major black circles.
