Now on this, I must disagree. There are skanks and opportunists on almost every corner, and in Hollywood, that is almost literal. There are people who would do ANYTHING for some publicity. Can you imagine a copy of the Enquirer with some skank on the cover with a blub reading "My Nights Of Passion With Julia's Husband." Yes, I can see it easily.

Agreed, LoveSparky. I was responding to this (emphasis added):
I just don't think anyone in "the biz" would touch him.

Certainly someone wanting publicity would try to take him away from Julia but she'd have to be really rich for him to make the switch.

Thats how I felt about Closer. I did end up seeing it, and Mike Nichols did a good job of 'containing Julia' as i call it. I still wonder how it would have been if Cate Blanchett had played Anna as was planned.

See, now. I never thought it was about money. Mr. Julia's father is a wealthy, prominent Hollywood insider, unless I am mistaken. I never thought it was about money at all. I thought it was the allure of fucking "America's Sweatheart." What does he look like? I don't have a link to his ugly mug, but to me, he looks like Kevin Bacon with milder features. HUGE forehead. Nothing special. And I don't believe for a moment that he is faithful to Pirahnia. I think he's been careful as hell, but one of these days there will be a splash about it and we will all be laughing at Cornholia.

With the strain of playing Mr. Perfect Husband in Ghoulia's Moder Citizenship play, I wouldn't be surprised if he snapped and ran off with the nanny.

I forgot about Moder Citizenship in that syrupy letter she wrote to Oprah. Classic. Thansk for reminding me of yet another reason she sickens me.

Mr. Perfect Husband in Ghoulia's Moder Citizenship play, I wouldn't be surprised if he snapped and ran off with the nanny. And he has plenty of nannies from which to choose: you just know "Ghoulia" (HEE!) still keeps a fleet of 'em on the payroll. I'm sure neither she nor Danny has ever changed a diaper and never will. She's so insecure, I'm sure her nanny job description's first requirement is the classic "assistant" qualities of hunchback and hairy moles. I hate her but don't pay much attention, so I hadn't heard about the "Moder Citizenship" business. Anyone got an airsick bag??

I know, but why?? She so ugly. The only things passably good about her are her incredibly long legs (and you know she's always played them up). I just can't stand the way she enunciates and chooses her words, in movies and in the real world, or the way she speaks ever so carefully and intelligently. Like the time she was on David Letterman announcing to the world her break up with Benjamin Bratt. She was so smug and self righteous I wanted to smack her down. I was like, who is Benjamin Bratt and why should ladies the world over celebrate? Now that she's back we will be subjected to her on every damn entertainment show. I thought we were going to have a well deserved break. Oh well one can still hope.
