I saw a photo of Julia with kids and nanny--the nanny was a middle-aged, rather matronly looking woman. (Nobody ever said Julia wasn't a shrewd woman!)

See, now. I never thought it was about money. Mr. Julia's father is a wealthy, prominent Hollywood insider, unless I am mistaken. I never thought it was about money at all. I thought it was the allure of fucking "America's Sweatheart." What does he look like? I don't have a link to his ugly mug, but to me, he looks like Kevin Bacon with milder features. HUGE forehead. Nothing special. And I don't believe for a moment that he is faithful to Pirahnia. I think he's been careful as hell, but one of these days there will be a splash about it and we will all be laughing at Cornholia.

You're right, absolutely not just about the money. But, however rich his father is, Danny didn't have the lifestyle he has now so stepping down would be something to guard against. That's all I meant. Of course feeling like he was out of prison might be worth it.

I also think guys like that enjoy the challenge of humiliating someone like Julia. I read on one of the other sites in a Cindy Crawford thread, "Who cheats on Cindy Crawford?" People are uniformly amazed. You can also put Billy Bob Thornton in this category if he really did cheat on AJ.

As for your last sentence, oh yes absolutely. I'd further guess that she knows but is intent on keeping the world believing her fairy tale version.

I just have to say that I used to like her, she didn't bug me. But now, I can't stand her! I'm so sick of everyone making such a big deal for going back to work. Especially on Access Hollywood. They are making such a hoop-dee-do about her working on a stupid video and how wonderful her hair looks. Huh? I now have to quickly change the channel when she's on the tv. Although old Julia doesn't bug me, so if Pretty Woman or My Best Friend's Wedding is on tv, I can watch it.

I believe that number is 1000. (And I agree with your entire post, heavenwithagun.) 1000 seems like a huge huge huge number of women, but it's not impossible. Two women a week for ten and a half years. Possible. Nasty, but possible. And wouldn't a man who has banged a thousand women have to be compulsive? Assuming that the number is correct, that is. And if the guy is compulsive, I think it is highly unlikely that he could stop, just because he married someone famous. I think he would LOVE it even more because of the challenge and danger. I don't believe that men like that can ever be faithful for long, no matter whom they are with. I personally CAN'T WAIT for the news splash when it all comes out.

A-freaking-men. And when that shit hits, I don't think the press will play the white-wash game like they did with the "A Low Julia" bullshit. It will be "Poor Julia"-ville. They can say what they want, humiliation is humiliation and she has hers coming in spades.

It was his soon-to-be-ex-wife who said he slept with either 1000 or 5000 women (I can't remember which number she said) when she was making the rounds of talk shows. I think she said it on an interview with a British radio show or something like that. I always kind of questioned the truth of number because it was really really high and also at the time she had to keep coming up with new dirt or they wouldn't keep having her on. Plus, I always wondered why she married him knowing that.

I don't really think either one of them will be faithful in the long run but it would be really cool if they put the kids first.
