Someone told me they heard on the radio this morning that Julia dumped Danny and moved with the kids to NYC...because Danny is a "dud" in bed.

She didn't figure that out when she was "borrowing" him from his wife?

I dunno, Julia never gave off a sexy vibe to me. I would totally believe that *she* is the "dud" in bed. People that narcissistic aren't good fucks.

I am sooo jellus of her ranch, though. I would give anything to take a year off to hang around my ranch and cook and diaper babies. Well, maybe not the last part. I'd be happy with the ranch and the whole not-ever-having-to-work-again thing.

Okay, I hate to add to all this bad news on the white-picket-fence front (really, I do), but after I scooped last week's blowout parade--led off in a most sexlicious way by man-jumping Nicollette Sheridan--babes, maybe we gotta do it again. You don't mind, do you?

Oh, hold your harrumphs for a sec! You know Brad and Angelina are supposedly marrying any sec, doncha? (That is if the sugar-sex-pops aren't married already). Carrie Fisher's annual Coldwater Canyon blowout was the first shindig to be a rumored locale for said hitching, so get ready for a whole blood-vial's worth of supposed wedding locations. Hey, how's this one: triple Hawaii wedding on surfboards between Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Gisele Bundchen, Kelly Slater, Angie and Brad? Don't laugh. Stranger things like TomKat have occurred. Back to biz more bothered.

Now, keep in mind, the following may not be a gossip item so much as a gossip item in the works. (Hell, that's half of what we gabby types do, anyway.) Been hearing for a while now--as have you, perhaps--that some folks are having a great deal of difficulty believing Julia Roberts and Danny Moder are living happily ever after. Keep in mind, they've only been married three-plus years, even though it may seem like 336 to jaded types like yours truly.

Roberts, a dynamo both onscreen and off, is a femme force to contend with, nobody doubts that. She knows what she wants. That's what I like about the broad. But does she already want out of her still relatively new marriage? (Does she think she's Britney Spears or something?)

That naysaying dish is precisely what my Desk Broadway--which has never proven wrong--is busy blabbing about the star, who turned 38 last Friday. Roberts, you see, is about to hit the boards in a medium-to-big way: She'll be headlining a run in Three Days of Rain this January. "And she's going to use this time to begin distancing from her husband," pooped the loose-lipped source who claims to know of what she very sadly speaks.

Sure hope it's not true. I live for Roberts. Love how she does everything her own way--including keeping her staff on the couple's ranch in Taos, New Mexico, down to a bare minimum (so unlike most Hollywood types, who have no less than dozens of hangers-on per abode). Julia prefers that she, not nannies, for ince, be with her twins, Hazel and Phinneas.

Is this just another in the series of sexist stories that brews wherever the woman's more successful than the man? (Just ask Reese 'n' Ryan or Jessica 'n' Nick if ya don't know what I mean.) Or is real trouble in the Pretty Woman's increasingly private life actually stirring?

I don't think Julia's success is the problems here. The last time she carried a movie was Mona Lisa Smile and that didn't quite live to the reputation of Julia as a box-office draw. I believe the movie made around 60 million. After that she has been carefully appearing in ensemble, Ocean's 12, Closer. So, I woudn't say she has a thrilling career going, although she took the last year off to concentrate on her kids. If her being succesful didn't get in the way in the beginning, I doubt it'd be a problem now. She isn't able to attract audiences anymore like she used to.

I do believe the rumours about her being jealous. She strikes me as a possesive, controlling woman who wouldn't trust anybody else around her man and maybe that's why she's losing ground. Most likely he's tired of her ways of keeping him attached to her hip. In HW, where actors and actresses are constantly working with each other for months and months sometime being 14 hours a day on the set, they have to have an incredible amount of trust if they want their relationships to work without being too possessive but not letting the guy/girl free completely on their own either.They have to find a subtle way in the middle.

I think they'll break up. So will Reese and Ryan. And for the love of God, why don't Nick and Jessica break up?She doesn't seem more successful to me. If by success they mean appearing every week on tabloids and making a crappy movie, than that's different.

Yep. I rarely see pictures of them together. Just *gossip* about them being places and being deliriously happy. On a serious note, do you think he's going to get to see those kids? Because that t-shirt should have given him a hint about the psychotic, vindictive creature he was about the marry. Instead of running for the hills he let his ego and penis overwhelm his good sense - not that he had any in the first place.

I do genuinely feel bad for children which she basically had to show Benjamin Bratt up. I'm sure the nanny will do a good job raising them though.

I thought I was the only one who thought she was creating an "I'll show you scenario". The whole connection seemed forced... picking this guy from the good looking pool, moving heaven and earth to make sure she could own him and then having not one, but one of each, in one fell swoop. Meanwhile didn't he tell some German mag that they were through before she got preggers? It just seems to be a matter of time before she is free wheeling again. Wonder if she is looking to George or Brad next?

Yeah, I suspect she has someone in mind. She doesn't strike me as the kind of woman who would end a relationship unless she had someone else on the back burner. And I bet she goes for someone famous this time round.

A Low Vera = when Danny was still technically married to Vera but Vera was dragging her heels on the price she'd sell her husband for divorce settlement, Julia bedazzlered herself a t-shirt that read "A Low Vera," called the local paparazzi, and then planted herself at the outside table of a cafe where she merrily sat in plain view for hours. Klassy.
