He's apparently friendly with Vanilla Ice. I can't help but think that ol' Vanilla is perhaps a bad influence on him.

Booze Traveler? Not quite accurate, but it's the best I can do.
And hey, at least he didn't drop any F-bombs, N-bombs or J-bombs.

Ugh, I have an unreasonable dislike for this man. Seriously, can't he have two cars: one for the weapons in the event of a "natural disaster" (what?) and one car to drive around in when he's high? Makes sense to me!

He's apparently really into weapons. I know this because I once saw him buying a bunch of swords at Medieval Times. This was a big deal because one doesn't normally see celebrities at one's graduation party in Schaumburg, Illinois. Whatchu doin' in my (sort of) neck of the wood? And what the hell was Popper doing there? Maybe he was there for the swords. I went there once with an ex, and it was ... interesting. He does look a lot better now, but I get a really creepy vibe from JP. I remember a Real World London cast member (Jay?) got to meet him and was really, really excited. Even at the height of Blues Traveler's popularity, I couldn't imagine why anyone would go out of his way to meet that guy. He gives me the jeebies.

Makes sense to me! Because you never know when a meteor might hit the Earth on your way back from the 7-11. There's no such thing as weather forecasts or seismologists, etc. to give you the heads up on natural disasters.

A friend of mine hooked up with him after a concert during Blues Traveler's heyday. She was all of 15 or 16, and 85 lbs at the time. That's all I can think of when I hear about him and it makes my skin crawl, over a decade later.
