She seems to be a child star who is being given some guidance (from parents?) on how to be a well-rounded human being. And I will always remember how precious she was as little Lizzie on Guiding Light. Aww!
I do remember her being irritated on Ellen last year that people can't pronounce her name: Pan-et-tee-air-ee. It was cute but a little brusque.
She does have huge frontal thighs, though. If she works those things out she could be a powerlifting squatter.

More on this from WWTDDI saw a clip on E! last night on this. I have been campaigning against this for several years now. Last's night clip showed her breaking down and crying about a baby dolphin being herded with it's family and slaughtered. The surfers trying to rescue them were pushed away with sticks and they said the baby picked it's head up and looked at them but they were helpless to try and save them. The baby was killed with the rest of it's family. I admire the fact that she did this and her celebrity will bring media attention to this horrible act. Because the years of letter campaigns to Japan's leaders haven't worked .

I don't care too much for Hayden -- residual Paris Hilton taint (ew, she said "taint"!), I guess -- but I admire her for taking this stand, and I'm sorry to see her get her heart broken like that. I may have to revise my feelings about the kid.

Ha ha!! That made me laugh out loud. Maybe she'll discover a new "power" as the season goes on...
She seems fairly bland and harmless to me, but I'm already getting sick of her. Girl is EVERYWHERE.

I saw the clip of this on the news tonight and it broke my heart - I couldn't even imagine being there in person and seeing it happen, I would have been a sobbing wreck. It's nice to see that she's using her celebrity to bring attention to a cause that she's passionate about rather than getting drunk off her face and flashing her vaj-jay-jay for the paps like other (underage) starlets.

Give me a freaking break.........that is such a cultural superiority statement too make. "Ooh, Japanese bad, they kill dolphins." Big whoop. You know what, Americans eat all types of Fish, Beef, Pork, Chicken, etc; what on earth makes the dolphin so special. I love American's and the attitude that it is okay to butcher the the animals we butcher (and yes butcher is the term I would use in most cases) because those are acceptible forms of meat/food for us. But other cultures that eat oh say Dolphin are bad and need to be educated. Give me a break.
For the record this post was directed at Hayden saying she would boycott all Japanese products until they stop this bad evil activity. It is not directed at anyone on the board, but yeah this is how I feel about the issue.

I really admire Hayden for going out there and trying to take a stand on this; at the very least, she'll bring some attention towards it. In regards to your post, lpatrice, I see what you're saying, but I don't think it's a case of ethnocentrism. My personal view is that it's not so much that these people are killing dolphins for meat, but that they're killing them in such a horrific, inhumane way. A way which is, indeed, like the slaughterhouses in America themselves. But until the U.S. passes laws to regulate these practices, there's not much we can do.
I think the bottom line is, there's injustice and cruelty to animals all over the world, and people need to wake up and see that, so I'm glad Hayden's raising awareness.

I agree Lpatrice. But only because if there is a single animal on this earth I'd want to pop in the nose, it would be one of those smug ass dolphins.
Dolphin jerks.

But until the U.S. passes laws to regulate these practices, there's not much we can do. Well, we could quit eating animals:)

Throw herself at the mercy of the cow, pig, and chicken butchers, and then shed tears all over television and the web. But then that would be too easy.
