Lead singer of the band Boston dies RIP to the ' nicest man in rock & roll ' I wasn't sure if this should go in the music board or what, (couldn't find a 70s thread) but I was really sad to hear this, and thought I'd share. Sorry if this is the wrong place.

I'm glad you posted this here or I'd have missed this news. This is so sad. Boston is my all time favourite band and Peace of Mind my favourite song. Such a great loss. Rest in Peace Brad.

Aw. Boston is one of those bands I never think about until I hear one of their songs on the radio, then I think, "Hey! I like this song!"
How sad. RIP, Brad.

I'll always have a soft spot for "More than a Feeling." RIP Brad. I love that song too, and I loved this band. I hear "More than a Feeling", I instantly flash back to 1977 - I could tell you the name of every kid I hung out with back then. It's one of those songs I immediately associate with being 13. RIP, Brad, and thanks for that cool, great voice of yours.

Loved "Don't Look Back" and "More than a Feeling". Important songs to me in the 70's. He had a great soaring voice.

Whenever I'm in my car and a Boston song comes on, it gets cranked (Yeah, I'm almost middle-aged but I still love to rock out *grins*). Boston is my all-time favorite rock band and I think they haven't been given the credit due them. I was saddened by this news because in my mind, there's something ageless about their music, as dorky as that sounds. Even after all these years, it's still great.
