I've always wondered if Delilah kicks back at home with, like, Norwegian death metal or Insane Clown Posse or something.
Surely no one can be that sappy all the time, right?

My friend and I listened to it last night over the phone while we had a marathon conversation about nothingness. We deduced that Delilah is the laziest person on the planet. She doesn't do ANYTHING. She takes minimal calls, and plays some song that doesn't make any sense for the call, and the rest of the time just like, plays BAD music for no reason. Last night she played "On Broadway." ON BROADWAY!?!? What does that have to do with loving someone tonight? We kept talking about calling up and making requests. Like, calling with some inane phone call and requesting "Xanadu," or saying our boyfriend's name is Arthur and then requesting the "Arthur's Theme" song by Christopher Cross.
We never got the nerve, though. We also weren't drinking.

I was listening to her last night as I drove home. Some lady called to tell this story about how she joined an online dating site and arranged to meet with this man. When she got there, she locked eyes with this guy and he "stayed on her mind". She had the date with the man and was pretty underwhelmed, but agreed to a secon date. When she went on the second date the man told her he wanted to introduced her to her son and it turns out that the guy she locked eyes with WAS the man's son. They ended up dating and are still together. The jist of the story is that he is younger than her and gueeeesss what song Delilah chose....Yes, "Forever Young"...Ugh!

BWAH. That is hilarious!
This guy called in last night with this totally hoosier-sounding, unintelligible voice, and Delilah goes, "Oh! You have a radio voice!"
WHAT.

Amy Grant is another one of Delilah's "go to" singers.

Ok, I'm slowly becoming addicted to this thread. Which is odd as I'm not from America so I've never heard of this strange woman before. I've now got this weird compulsion to listen to her. Are there any clips online? Any pictures to go with them? I've got a mental image of her as someone with big frizzy hair with clothes from the 1980s.

So, I was driving home tonight and I put Delilah on the dial. I listened through two songs and no "Angel." I was so disappointed. I had to console myself with Hall and Oates' "You Make My Dreams Come True"

I think I'm safe from her in Ireland. But I'm actually a little bit disappointed about that!
