I think he's kind of annoying. Having your first single ask "why don't you like me" and your second single demand "love, love me" just sounds whiny and needy to me. Also, his music sounds like songs that play in the background of commercials to me (which, surprise surprise, it already is).
But I can't hate him as a person because, from what I can tell from interviews, he has good taste in music.

I have been playing "Grace Kelly" non-stop. It just makes me so damn happy. I've had to make myself stop listening to it so much, because it's one of those songs that I will get soooo sick of hearing. But for now, I love it. ITA. I'm worried about how much I like it, cause I don't wanna get too annoyed. Still on the fence about buying the whole album, though. That lollipop song could drive me batty. And falsetto done by him I find charming, but someone like JT? Hate.

I don't like him for the simple fact that Perazz Hilton has pimped him out way too much...And I HATE Perazz!

I saw him on Leno last night. He's no Freddie Mercury, but that guitarist he had with him sure gave Brian May a run for his money.
Interesting, but I wonder if he can sustain his uniqueness beyond a couple of semi-hits.

Oh, he's the one that did the "why don't you like me?" song that I heard 100 times in the mall today? Mehhh.
The only other person I know named Mika is a good friend of mine. Who is a girl from Israel. I keep thinking how odd it is that she has her own thread.

Not an original. Leo Sayer did it before him. This Mika person is trying to channel Freddie Mercury. He can't even shine Freddie's shoes.

Yeah, I'm afraid Mika is going to be a one hit wonder, because the rest of the songs on his album are just not as fun, catchy or good as "Grace Kelly". This Mika person is trying to channel Freddie Mercury. He can't even shine Freddie's shoes. ITA.

He must give really great head for Perez to pimp him out on his website nearly every day.

But what right do any of us have to tell someone that they should come out just because they're a bigger queen than Elizabeth (which I wholeheartedly agree with, he totally is. Totally)? What he discloses to the public is his business. I know he's gay. You know he's gay. He knows he's gay. It's not like he's Clay Aiken who has tried repeatedly to convince everyone that he's straighter than an arrow. I totally understand your frustration, because it would be SO much easier for gays to be accepted in society if many would just come out--Should that happen, I think the general attitude of Americans would shift, because it would become old hat. Anyway, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree And with that I will shut up about this before the mods draw and quarter me. I bought his album on I-Tunes today, and I have to say, I love it. I feel slightly guilty about this, as I fear I am just a big cheeseball who likes mind-numbing pop. Guilty as charged. I love Robbie Williams too, which carries it's own shame. I know it's (Mika's album) derivative as all hell, but it boosted my mood on my way to work today. I do have to say though, the way he looks squicks me out. I sort of wish I never had watched his video--in stills he's ok, but in motion?? AH!
