What is the deal with her making so few albums? Does it have to do with her recording contract? Or is that she is a perfectionist? I know about the whole scrapping a lot of the original Extraordinary Machine. And she said at a recent concert that she handed in the tracks for this upcoming album over a year ago. It sounds like she doesn't have much control over her own career. She seems like the type of artist who should be on an indie label or releasing her own stuff. She has dedicated fans but any mainstream support she had from her Tidal days seem long gone.

Count me in as being excited. I love her first three albums. When the Pawn... is probably my favorite.
I still love to blast "Never Is a Promise" and sing along as loud as I can.

I have to admit I'm excited. I've loved her last, what 3 albums? Tidal I think was my least favorite and that was good too. I loved When the Pawn and Extraordinary Machine.

I was always a casual Fiona fan until some friends took me to a show in '05. Still quirky, definitely, but super talented and more of a concert "experience " than I'd had in years. I'll be at the DC show, hope she's still got it. I have to agree that she doesn't really seem to have matured much since the 90s though.

2 new songs performed as SXSW. The sound quality is not good but I am liking what I hear so far, especially the first one. She is looking frail again though.

She was fantastic and the audience loved her, and yeah, she's reed thin. Never had seen her live, she really puts herself into it, excited for the new album.
