Bjork

I ike Bjork because she is married to Matthew Barney. And that makes me think she is awesome, but I really want to start listening to her music, because I do think I would enjoy it (I love Joanna Newson, who constantly gets compared to Bjork, although I think its mostly because of the voice.) What would be the best CD to start with? Thanks

I think Post is a good starting point. "Hyperballad" is the song that made me a fan.

Ooh, I *love* the name Isadora. It's so pretty! Her children's names are not at all incredibly weird like I would have expected them to be.

I think Bjork is just terrific. She's eccentric, but it feels organic coming from her - not manufactured oddness, but having the confidence to follow her whims whether it be music or fashion. And no one will ever forget the swan dress!

bokay, my favorite Bjork album is Homogenic. Highly recommend.
