I officially like him. He impressed me a lot with how chill he was during the Ashton-Demi debacle and he seems refreshingly un-macho about having daughters. Politically, he's still a little right wing for my tastes but he does seem reasonably moderate about social issues.

I remember reading a magazine article years back where he talked about joining up with Susan Sarandon to push Congress for better veterans services for the wounded returning from Iraq/Afghanistan. He said she called him up and asked for his help and even though they had very different views about the war they were on the same side about how veterans should be treated when they came home. I thought that said a lot about both of them - that she the diehard (pun intended) hippie liberal would reach across the aisle to a known conservative celebrity and that he would jump right on the bandwagon with her regardless of politics.

He was on Letterman after Tallulah was born and admitted that he had no input on choosing their names or they'd be named something like Debbie or Linda. I wonder if he had more input for these last 2?

Evelyn is really a name that I have grown to love, a know a couple of people that have in the last few years named their daughter that, the girls are in both cases called Evie.

So Scout is walking around topless in NYC to protest the fact that Instagram won't let you show nipples.

I can't decide of this is cool protest because of how weird people are about women's bodies or Class A famewhoring.

Amusingly, when looking for this thread, I accidentally hit first page - the first post is about how Bruce thinks starlets should stop flashing their lady parts. I wonder what he thinks of this.

I think everyone should have a shirt on in public. Unless you're a toddler in the striptease stage.

And while I agree with her that Instagram is being inconsistent, this doesn't really help make the point- so to speak.

A more effective approach might have been if Scout held a rally in Union Square in NYC along with several other topless women, and have people blog about it on social media (including Instagram!) simultaneously.

Of course she's being a fame whore. She probably inherited her mother's "look at me" desperation.

While everyone has their causes, I can think of a hundred issues that she could protest about that are more important than a woman's right to show her nipples publicly.
