Starting this thread after seeing "The Last Days of Left Eye" on VH1. Did anyone else watch it?
It was definitely creepy to see her musing about her life in the days leading up to her death. And are we supposed to believe that that was actual footage of the car accident that killed her?
Left Eye did come across as a bit of a brat (and a bit too devoted to this Dr Sebi stuff), but she also seemed like a fairly smart woman who had some depth to her.

I read that footage of the car crash is real and that there is more of it, but the family didn't want it shown.

I wondered about that too. In some ways, I hope it was because using some other random footage for a fake-out like that seems kinda cheesy. I hope the only way it was doctored was that they cut to the static before the camera actually pooped out.
I only caught bits and pieces of this while I was doing other things around the house. I'll have to try to catch the whole thing.
Did they say she was the only one who didn't survive the crash? I just noticed a couple of the women who were in the car at her funeral.
ETA: Looks like livviebway confirmed what I hoped.

I didn't see the entire thing but really liked what I saw. I saw another 'behind the scenes' show of TLC a couple of years ago -- and her band mates were seriously angry with her when she died. She seemed really intelligent -- all the women from the band did. I liked ther breakdown in the special of how a 10.2 record selling band could go bankrupt.

I thought it was very creepy how Lisa had said the day before that the spirits were after her but got the little boy by mistake. Then the next day she's the only person who dies in what did not look like the very worst crash you could have.

The doc has a lot of Lisa talking about numerology and astrology and trippy stuff like that. She was saying she was having premonitions and that there were spirits out to get her. The day before she died, the car she was riding in hit a little boy in the road and killed him, and Lisa said the spirits were looking for her but had gotten the boy by mistake.

I just watched the documentary. Man, she was so beautiful. Through most of it, she was wearing no makeup and was just radiant. All kinds of messed up and sad, though. What was she doing with that Andre creep? Ick.

So she was in two serious accidents in two days? That is a Final Destination-type of creepy.

fairly smart...
She was extremely intelligent, IMO. Very bright.
I really liked the documentary. Didn't get to see the end because I had to go to bed, but I hope they play it again.
